About us

Founded in 1993, Efes Restaurant is proud to be Cambridge’s first Turkish restaurant, serving authentic Turkish cuisine for more than 33 years. Our kitchen is centred around a real charcoal grill, giving every dish its signature smoky flavour. From tender Chicken and Lamb Shish to our popular Mixed Charcoal Kebab, each plate is prepared fresh using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.

Alongside our charcoal grills, we offer daily homemade mezzes, crafted from classic Turkish recipes passed down through generations. Efes is a cosy and welcoming space for families, friends, and anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed dining experience filled with genuine Turkish hospitality.
